Indiana based Visitor Watch Company is gearing up for it’s Kickstarter project coming up the end of October/early November. The company is off to a good start being featured on Watchuseek, Fratelleo watches, Crave Object, The Time Bum, Worn & Wound and several other watch blogs. The micro-brand is trying to bring something fresh to the market with it’s first release.
The Calligraph Duneshore will be priced around $600 USD price according to founder Phil Rodenbeck. The unique case has people buzzing about the watch on watch forums and blogs. It is something we have not seen before and one inspired by sand dunes. The curved caseback was inspired by The Bean landmark in Chicago. The buckle continues the shape of the case to create a complete design focused on originality.
The Duneshore features beefy specs such as 44mm case with 11.75mm thickness, Miyota 9015 Japanese Automatic movement, Sandwich Dial with Applied Indices, 100M water resistance with screw down crown, and 2.5mm thick Sapphire Crystal with underside Anti-Reflective Coating. The polished case gives the watch a dressy feel while the strap and 44mm case give it a casual feel.
The CALLIGRAPH DUNESHORE is truly one the most anticipated watches to launch on the Kickstarter platform. I believe the watch has high potential of breaking new records in funding. The Visitor Watch Company Calligraph Duneshore is a home-run and the only question is how fast can I get one in my hands.
