I love the feel and comfort of a great Nato strap on my watch. Nato Straps Co. makes some very nice leather and nylon Nato Straps that are affordable and stylish. I was in the market for a new leather Nato strap and found the Longhorn orange leather Nato to be the perfect pairing with my watch.

The Nato Straps Co. The Longhorn Leather NATO Strap w/ Polished Hardware is a made of quality Genuine Leather with Stitched in hardware. The 10.7/270mm in length should fit the majority of wrist sizes. And it’s 1.2mm thinness makes it perfect for almost any watch. I had another Nato that was too thick to fit under the springbars. The Nato Straps Co. Nato leather is the perfect thickness that it should fit on most watches.

The Nato Straps Co. leather Nato straps are the perfect blend of comfort with a not too thick leather and not too stiff. It is a leather strap that is super comfortable for all day wear. The polished hardware is made of Surgical Grade Stainless Steel.

Overall the Nato Straps Co. The Longhorn Leather NATO Strap w/ Polished Hardware is an excellent Nato strap that would be ideal for almost every watch enthusiast. The $23.50 price is well below the average price of a solid Nato yet is the same quality as more expensive options.

James McCabe is a new watch brand that is offering affordable automatic watches with some style. The model I am reviewing is the Rose Gold BELFAST watch. The retails for around $327.37USD and comes in Rose Gold case/Black Dial, Silver case/Black Dial, and Rose Gold case/White dial.

Specifications:

Automatic Skeleton Movement

Stainless Steel Rose Gold Case

Black Dial with Rose Gold Index

Brown Leather Strap

5 ATM

Case diameter with crown: 46mm

The watch features Rose Gold plated case, see through caseback, open heart and leather strap. The watch is considered an affordable dress watch although I recommend you buy a premium strap. The leather strap that comes with it is okay but a little stiff.

The packaging it comes in is a cardboard box outer and then a very nice inner gift box. The watch face is easily readable with numbers at the 12 and 6 position and indices at the hour markers in rose gold. The minute and hour hands are filled with lume material. This is a dress watch so don’t expect much lume out of this watch. The crown is a push and pull type so only 5ATM water resistance. The back features a exhibition case back so you can see the automatic movement. The movement is not mentioned but it is an Japanese automatic movement

The watch is very nice for the money. It is a watch I would wear on special occasions and on dates. The rose gold is very well plated and should last for a long time. The 44mm case is a little bit more of a modern size for a dress watch but should work for most.

We have been following up with watch startups that were successfully funded last year on Kickstarter. Erroyl timepieces was one of the watch brands that really stood out. The company raised $40,972AUD of the requested $15,000AUD goal.

Erroyl has shipped out their initial batches of watches to Kickstarter backers in early January. The company plans to send deployment clasp straps that was a stretch goal in mid-April to all backers. Those backers that decided to wait for the deployment clasp to ship with the watches will receive both in mid-April.

The company is currently selling their Erroyl watches through the website HERE for $303.33 USD. The Rose Gold version has already sold out, but more stock will be available at a later time(June2015).

Stay tune for more updates about Erroyl in the near future. And check out Erroyl site HERE to buy.
