The Iconik 1 features a cushion case, a fixed bezel, and a 41mm in diameter case. The 41mm case is perfect for my 7 inch wrist and is welcome compared to some of the larger Panerai watches. While the Manchester Watch Works Iconik 1 is a homage to the Luminor line of watches, it still has a unique design all to it’s own.

The domed crystal gives the watch a very readable dial and AR coating provides reduced reflection in direct sunlight. The MWW logo is found on the dial as well as the crown of the watch. The dial is a minimalist delite with 3, 6, 9 and 12 large hour markers. The C3 Superluminova is about average on this watch and I would have like a little better lume. The leather strap is thick and has the Panerai styling to it. It does look a bit weird with the smaller 41 inch case with this huge and thick leather strap. The Seiko Instrument Automatic NH35A movement is inside and comparable to the Miyota automatic movements such as the 9015.

If you are looking for Panerai style watch at a low cost then the Manchester Watch Works Iconik 1 would be a wise choice. The MWW Iconik is just original enough not to be a direct copy of the Panerai Luminor watches. The quality of the watch is quite good for a Micro Brand Watch and I believe will be a great addition to anyone’s collection.
