Minuteman Watches are making a difference in the community and making made in the USA watches. Minuteman sources the watch from few highly skilled watchmakers in the state of Illinois. So you get a watch that is built with superb standards from American watchmakers that are CMW21 (Certified Watchmaker of the 21st Century) certified.

The Minuteman MM04 comes in a nice nylon zippered case that protects the watch and is perfect when traveling.

The MM04 features a polished stainless steel case and case back, 43mm case, Sapphire Crystal, Swiss Made 955.112 movement, 200m water resistance and American made leather watch strap. In addition the watch has 2.5mm “Fat” spring bars, A/R coating on the inside of the crystal, screw down crown and luminous hands and dial. The watch feature plenty of features that make it a true value. This is a watch you want to keep for years to come.

I like Minuteman Watches aspirations to help Veterans as well as make their watches here in the United States. In a world where big companies are trying to nickel and dime the consumer, Minuteman Watch Co. is trying to offer a helping hand. Minuteman watches is a brand that I can get behind for it’s message and of course getting a quality timepiece as well.

The watches from Minuteman watches are backed by a 5 year limited warranty and come with free lifetime battery replacement. The company takes 25% of it’s profit and donates the money to charities that assist veterans and their families.

Vierra Watches is a startup offering watches without the markup. The watches are designed with a sporty feel that is perfect for swimming and surfing. The 50m water resistance is more than enough to protect the watch from water from showers, swimming and surfing. The watch should not be used for diving!

The Vierra Watch reminds me a bit of Nixon watches which I think is a good thing. The watch is powered by Miyota Japanese quartz movement that is extremely accurate. The Vierra Watches have a 41mm metal case with hardened mineral crystal. At the price point the watch feels very high quality and not prone to break like plastic case watches. The 22 mm silicone strap gives it a sporty feel while being super comfortable to wear. The color combinations include black/blue with black strap, black/yellow with black strap and finally white/gold with white strap.

The Vierra Watches offer the best price for the money of any watch I have seen. The watches sell for $59 for one, $99 for two and three for $139. That means you can pay as little as $46.33 if you buy 3. Considering I own watches that cost thousands of dollars the price of the Vierra watch is attractive even as a impulse buy. It would be perfect for taking with you on trips as the watch is cheap enough to replace if lost. The Vierra watch should be popular with younger crowd that like trendy watches and sophisticated shoppers that are looking for new and interesting brands at a bargain price.

Vierra watches are excellent watches to own and give away to family and friends. Fashion-savvy shoppers will like the fashion forward design and price. Vierra watches blends sport with style that is perfect for men and women that enjoy skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing while wearing a cool watch on their wrist.

Indiana based Visitor Watch Company is gearing up for it’s Kickstarter project coming up the end of October/early November. The company is off to a good start being featured on Watchuseek, Fratelleo watches, Crave Object, The Time Bum, Worn & Wound and several other watch blogs. The micro-brand is trying to bring something fresh to the market with it’s first release.

The Calligraph Duneshore will be priced around $600 USD price according to founder Phil Rodenbeck. The unique case has people buzzing about the watch on watch forums and blogs. It is something we have not seen before and one inspired by sand dunes. The curved caseback was inspired by The Bean landmark in Chicago. The buckle continues the shape of the case to create a complete design focused on originality.

The Duneshore features beefy specs such as 44mm case with 11.75mm thickness, Miyota 9015 Japanese Automatic movement, Sandwich Dial with Applied Indices, 100M water resistance with screw down crown, and 2.5mm thick Sapphire Crystal with underside Anti-Reflective Coating. The polished case gives the watch a dressy feel while the strap and 44mm case give it a casual feel.

The CALLIGRAPH DUNESHORE is truly one the most anticipated watches to launch on the Kickstarter platform. I believe the watch has high potential of breaking new records in funding. The Visitor Watch Company Calligraph Duneshore is a home-run and the only question is how fast can I get one in my hands.
