AVI-8 offers a whole lot of watch for the money. The company produces watches with a vintage appeal and big modern case. The is a big pilot watch with a 47mm case diameter. I was at first taken aback by the size of the watch until I tried it on and how great it look on the wrist. The watch nicely hugs the wrist and at 11mm thickness it is very wearable even on my 7 inch wrist.
The AV-4040-03 features a Japanese Automatic movement, Mineral Crystal, 50M water resistance, and leather strap with additional Nato strap. The large dial is highly legible with over-sized o, 3, 6, and 9 numerals. The leather strap with nylon inset is a nod to the ribbons and awards pilots of today and yesteryear receive for outstanding service. The date windows features an extended five day window with red marker pointing to today’s date. Rather than go with a sunburst dial, AVI-8 went with a matte finish blue dial that is easy to read in direct sunlight.
AVI-8 produces exceptional affordable watches with great aesthetics and function. While the watch originally retailed for $680, the AV-4040-03 can be purchased for a reasonable $188.52. At less than $200, the Hawker Harrier II is great value for anyone looking for an everyday watch.

Lew & Huey Watch Company and Watchuseek is partnering for a new project watch codename Spectre. The project is based on the Orthos case, but takes several design cues from vintage and modern Omega Seamasters, particularly the ’57 and ’67 SM 300’s.
You may know that Omega brought back ’57 SM 300 in the new Co-Axial Seamaster 300 that will be worn by James Bond(Daniel Craig) in the new bond movie Spectre. This new watch from Omega is the inspiration for the new forum project on WUS.
The project is currently in the development phase as all the parts are being made determine by forum members vote. Visit HERE for more info.
Only 200 to 250 watches will be made of this limited edition WUS project watch. The watch will be available in black and blue, with or without a date window at 3. As a tribute to both the fictional spy and his creator, author Ian Fleming, the logo will likely emulate the square-and-three-braids rank insignia for Commanders serving in the British RNVR (Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve), the rank both Ian and Bond held in said service. Likewise, our dial text will tentatively include “Commander 300” in script, in place of Omega’s “Seamaster 300”.
Lew & Huey will also make a new Orthos watch at the same time with similar design cues. The new Orthos will be limited to 100-300 with eight new dial/bezel color combinations and limited to as little as ten pieces per combination.
Both the forum project watch and the new Orthos should be delivered around April 2016. Pre-orders should start near the end of October or beginning of November, with an initial starting pre-order price of $350, or $325 if you buy two or more.

Created by Mark Demos, the founder of the company and teamed with John Cupit, at the time a car design Director for Nissan Design America in La Jolla, to develop watches with a “cruiser” motorcycle design in mind. The company produces watches with a motorcycle themed design. The company currently has two models, the chain watch and the tread watch. The two watches come with various color dials and bracelets as well as brush and polished finishes.
The Tread Watch features a tread like rubber tire strap with a square case. The watch is heavy, rugged and perfect for the biker or watch enthusiast. At only $150 the tread watch is a serious bargain for fans of unique and tough watches.
Demos Chain watch concept is based around the motorcycle chain with added elements of bike parts added to it. The concept is original and different than any other watch on the market. The chain watch is priced an affordable $225. Those that have a love for classic motorcycles and watches will like the watches from Demos watch co.

Here we preview a new unique designed watch from Don Kylne & Co watches. The company has produced some prototypes and plan to launch on Indiegogo(We will post a link once it goes live) in the near future. Don Kylne watch was started by a bunch of guys that ran their own businesses away from their hometowns for a large part of their lives. The principles the company follows are life, modern, classic designs and the best quality.
Drawing from life, life is not fair or square and neither is it a smooth circle. The cushion case represents the ups and downs of life. The second hand is placed in a corner, symbolising how time passes us by, unconsciously slipping out of our grasp. The company inject a modern touch into a well loved classic template. The Don Kylne &Co. Watch was made with quality in mind with quality materials that last for generations.
The Don Kylne &Co. features a 40.5mm case, Domed Scratch Resistant Sapphire Crystal, Automatic Miyota 82xx series movement, 50m water resistance, 22mm Leather Strap and Genuine Leather Custom Selected Strap with Butterfly Deployant Clasp. The watch will also feature Custom Designed Flower Motiff Engraving for customers that choose this option.
Rêveurs Comme Nous collection is only engraved in our first collection. The phrase means dreamers like us. Once this project is successfully funded, it would mean you would have helped make our dreams into reality. Therefore this phrase will only be engraved for this first collection and never repeated. Thus, making this first collection more valuable in future.
The pricing will be around $300USD early bird on Indiegogo with a retail price of $450USD. Each watch to be individually numbered from 001-500.
